| GME ACCUSAT 406 PLB W/GPS (MT410GUS) |
GME’s AccuSat Series, available with or without an
integrated GPS option, are leading the world with feature innovation and
user benefits.
Not only is the AccuSat Series the smallest and lightest PLB on the
market, both models offer a massive 7 year battery replacement life, an
‘industry first’ 7 year warranty, a high intensity LED strobe and a ‘Non
Hazmat’ battery pack for simple and cost effective transportation, all
contributing to the unique AccuSat advantage.
The current 121.5/243 MHz analogue COSPAS SARSAT service will be
terminated in February 2009 and only the 406 MHz digital beacon signals
will be processed thereafter. Consumers have for some time recognised
the major benefits of a 406 MHz over a 121.5 MHz device in faster, more
accurate detection, personal identification of each beacon, reduced
search area resulting in a faster more targeted response in a life
threatening situation. However the prohibitive cost of 406 MHz beacons
has always been an issue.
Today with cutting edge microprocessor technology, GME’s engineers are
able to provide the outdoor adventurer with a 406 MHz PLB solution that
is not only affordable, but provides enhanced peace of mind for boaters,
bush walkers, 4 x 4 enthusiasts and aviators should they ever require
emergency assistance.
GME has been designing and manufacturing emergency beacons in Australia
for over 30 years. In that time literally hundreds of lives have been
saved in Australia and around the world.

Ameri-King ELT SET 406/WHIP ANTENNA (AK-451-1)

|
| ELT SET 406/WHIP ANTENNA (AK-451-1) |
The Ameri-King AK-451-( ) Series is a FAA TSO’d
approved, 406 MHz ELT Emergency Locator Transmitter, Types (AF)
Automatic Fixed, (AP) Automatic Portable, (S) Survival. It transmits
aircraft GPS/NAV position data, immediately and accurately, on triple
(406 Satellite /243 Military /121.5 Civilian) MHz frequencies.
The supreme advantage feature is the aircraft GPS/NAV Latitude /
Longitude exact position shall be transmitted, within 1 minute, on the
very first burst, without waiting for a Polar Orbiting Satellite (could
be up to 4 hours). Enhance the accuracy significantly, for the ground
search area, from 1-2 kilometers (non GPS/ NAV Position) to 22 meters
typical (with GPS/NAV Position).
Having triple frequencies insures your distress message reaches both
NOAA Satellite Operation and US Air Force AFSR Ground Operation, Search
and Rescue Team, with 100% fully confidence, due to transmitting on both
243.0 MHz Military and 121.5 MHz Civilian bands, for immediate ground
search dispatch, narrowing the searching time to almost nothing.
The choice is clear, when it come to Safety, Fast, Accuracy,
Reliability, Price and Product Support, Ameri-King’s AK-451-( ) Series
is your best choice.
The AK-451 has been certified
to the following:
- FAA TSO-C126
- FAA TSO-C91a
- ETSO-2C126 per European Aviation Safety Agency
(EASA)

AK-451 ELT |

|
 |
|
The AmeriKing AK-450 is an FAA TSO'd C91a approved ELT Emergency Locator
Transmitter, types (AF) (AP) Automatic Fixed, Automatic Portable. Meets
the SSA Contest Rules. |
 |
ELTs were manufactured 1973 to
the specifications of FAA TSO-C91. In 1985, TSO-C91A was introduced to
provide improved performance and reliability. Today, C91 units are no longer
allowed in new installations. These first and second-generation units
broadcast an analog signal on 121.5 and 243.0 MHz. The latest technology
utilizes a frequency of 406 MHz. In November of 2000 the International
Corpas-Sarsat Program announced that it plans to cease the processing of
distress signals from 121.5 and 243 MHz beacons on February 1st, 2009. For
details see the 121phaseout.pdf
document. The FAA has not announced any plans to obsolete 121.5 MHz ELTs. |
SSA Sanction Contests in 2007 may require
an Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) that is
impact-activated. At the discretion of the Contest Organizers.
| The ELT may be manually selected or automatically activated upon a crash and
transmit the standard swept tone of 121.5/243.0 MHz simultaneously. In addition,
the model AK450 may be used for transmitting Voice Communication to Search and
Rescue Teams, on the Emergency frequency 121.5/243.0 Mhz channel. This design is
unique.
Uses standard Duracell Alkaline "D" cell batteries. Remote
control panel operates from lithium cell. No aircraft power is required for
operation.
Installation is extremely simple for the AK 450. All necessary Accessories
are provided, including; a High Speed - No wind drag antenna, a telescopic
portable antenna, a remote control panel, coaxial cable and wiring
interconnection assemblies, and a mounting tray.
