Powered Flexability
PowerFLARM is powered by aircraft power or
fully autonomous by 6 AA-Cell batteries. PowerFLARM can operate without any
external data- or powersource thus is legally operable in any kind of
aircraft. No certification nor special installation required!
PowerFLARM detects inserted batteries. If
rechargeable, PowerFLARM charges batteries through its integrated charging
circuit. PowerFLARM lasts up to 8 hours or 4 average flights - all on one

Easy to Install
PowerFLARM is loaded with features - yet incredibly tiny. Finding the
right place to mount is no problem.
The bright, latest generation OLED Display is perfectly readable from any
angle, providing even more options when installing. |
| Stunning: Display and Audio The contrasty display
is perfectly readable, even in direct sunlight. It has beautiful colors,
viewable from any angle - perfect if you and your copilot wish to use
PowerFLARM simultaneously.
PowerFLARM features an integrated speaker, no problem even in very noisy
airframes. PowerFLARM also features audio output to headsets or soundpanels.
Voice alarms are available as an upgrade from mid 2011.
Volume of speaker and audio output are seperately controllable - so you
can make everything perfectly suit your needs. |

undserstand and use.

need.

| No buttons, no pain! PowerFLARM has only one single
big control knob that lets you easily access all functions in no time. It is
perfectly usable, even in very gusty weather conditions.
The integrated menu is very easy to use, too. There is no need for
guessing which button to press or to navigate through complex menu-dialogs.
Everything is where you would expect it to be. |

Latest on the IGC Flight Recorder issue:
Powerflarm for USA will have IGC-approval through
Diamond.
Approval may well happen after first units ship.
This is relatively low risk as the Flarm folks
have done IGC-approval before and know the drill. |
Compatibility with current Flarm Products:
PowerFLARM and FLARM will be fully compatible and
interoperational.
PowerFLARM will have a significant higher range and
better transmission reliability (multiple antennas), though.
However all current FLARM versions (also those of
our licensees) are and will remain illegal to import, sell or use in North
America as they do not meet FCC requirements (and have no FCC ID,
obviously).
