O2 Transfilling Equipment
Mountain High manufactures a line of oxygen transfillers and adapters so you can refill your cylinders without making expensive trips to an airport or compressed gas facility. Buy or rent a large oxygen cylinder and do your own refilling.. Mountain High oxygen transfillers have micro-particle secures at the inlets and outlets to help keep dirt out of your oxygen system to meet or exceed SAE, CGA and DOT specs.
Complete Transfilling System
A transfilling system is a large cylinder to be used to re-charge your
airplane's cylinder. A transfill system can be used to fill multiple tanks.
A a large cylinder is used to reduce the number of times you need to get
oxygen from an oxygen supplier.
Cylinder Valve Port Types
There are 2 types of cylinder valve port types commonly used in aircraft. The
regulator attaches to this port.
General Transfilling Information

| The TR-55 is the most economical way to fill your cylinder. One side has a CGA-540 nut & nipple with an O-ring seal, while the other end is equipped with a large hand nut with bare nipple. This allows you to slowly and safely bleed the line so the fittings can be easily removed from the cylinder. This transfiller is also available in a DIN-477 (Euro-norm) version. |

| The TR-95 (GSE-1016-00) is an economical transfilling system for soaring and flying clubs where many cylinders are serviced frequently. Both connecting ends have O-ring seals for a positive air-tight fit. The pressure/contents gauge shows how much oxygen remains in the master (rental) cylinder. The TR-95b utilizes a master transfer (regulating) valve to control the flow of oxygen into the cylinder being filled. A separate bleed valve allows you to bleed only the fittings (rather than the entire service line) and change cylinder after cylinder with almost no loss of valuable oxygen. The TR-95b-DIN version of our TR-95b transfiller has the same features as the TR-95b except that it is compatible with DIN-477 (Euro-norm) systems. A dual gauge version of the TR-95b is also available. It has an additional gauge at the slave cylinder side so that you can pre-check cylinders without a gauge that you are about to fill. The gauge is also great for monitoring the transfill process. |

The TA-380-S & -N are for the MS22066 and MS22035 filler ports. The TA-916-S & -N are for the 9/16-18 SCOTT fittings. The -N is for "nipple" and the -S is for "socket" on the CGA-540 ends. This nomencclature is used because the terms "male" and "female" were being constantly confused with CGA fittings. Micro-particle secures are installed on the 540 ends and an O-ring is on the 540 nipple for an air-tight fit by hand. |
