The B500 Includes:
- B500 System Unit (57 or 80 mm sizes -
both in stock), (Knots or m/s - both in stock).
- B500 GCD Glareshield Control and
Display unit. Displays average and thermal history data and task
navigation data. Allows the edit of MacCready, Bugs, and Nav Turnpoint
data.
- Optional GCD2 includes MiniSD Card can
store multiple, large waypoint files with hundreds of turnpoints
- B500 HP_GPS - high performance GPS that
outputs 4 position samples every second
- Outside air temperature (OAT) probe
- 2 Speakers - Stereo left right thermal
centering aide.

- GCD1 GPS navigation display (on GCD1) with
turnpoint database (75 turnpoints), wind information, and final glide
computer
- GCD2 Includes a built-in reader
for a mini-SD card. The memory card can store multiple, large waypoint
files with hundreds or thousands of waypoints. Includes 1 x
mini-SD card with adapter.
- Variometer with 2-channel audio
- Averager (on Glareshield Control and
Display (GCD) unit
- Speed-to-fly (blue and amber lights on
vario dial)
- Green LED on vario dial for "lift is
better than average" (climb mode) or "airmass is rising" (cruise mode)
- Red LED on vario dial for "lift is less
than average" (climb mode) or "airmass is sinking" (cruise mode)
- GPS and air data (airspeed and
variometer) send to PDA for use in soaring flight software
