PA-18-160 SuperCub
A total rebuild of this 12,000 hr. airframe was
completed in June of 2007. N929SC spent it’s lifetime working for the
Australian government as a fire spotter.
She retired in 1999, was
re-registered in the U.S, and has been under the process of professional
restoration ever since.
No damage history.
Logs demonstrate
that this SuperCub received the best of care and maintenance in a system of
regulations that parallels our U.S standards.
The aircraft was completely disassembled at the
start of the rebuild period. The frame was sandblasted, carefully inspected
and epoxy coated. No defects were found.
Covered with new Polyfiber
fabric. It has new windows, paint, upholstery, floorboards, control
cables and tires. Many upgrades and modifications
were installed.
