A transfilling system is  a large cylinder to be used to re-charge your airplane's cylinder.  A transfill system can be used to fill multiple tanks.   A  a large cylinder is used to reduce the number of times you need to get oxygen from an oxygen supplier. 

Cylinder Valve Port Types
There are 2 types of cylinder valve port types commonly used in aircraft.  The regulator attaches to this port.

• CGA-540 - US standard, Approximate outer diameter of threads: 0.875" (22.2 mm)
• DIN-477 - European standard, Approximate outer diameter of threads: 1" (25.4 mm)

The TR-55 is the most economical way to fill your cylinder. One side has a CGA-540 nut & nipple with an O-ring seal, while the other end is equipped with a large hand nut with bare nipple. This allows you to slowly and safely bleed the line so the fittings can be easily removed from the cylinder. This transfiller is also available in a DIN-477 (Euro-norm) version.  Comes with 2' or 4' flex hose.

The TR-875 is a CGA-870 (medical oxygen fitting) to CGA-540 (standard oxygen fitting) transfilling device. The TR875 allows you to transfill between equipment that has a CGA-870 (medical) fitting and a standard CGA-540 fitting. All connections are air-tight by hand without the use of tools.

The North American Industry Standard for oxygen fittings are called 'CGA-540' (Compressed Gas Assn. fitting No.540). Aircraft with built-in oxygen systems do not usually use the heavy fittings, instead special lighter weight fill fittings have been developed. We have transfiller fittings for easy refilling your built in system from standard CGA-540 oxygen systems. The adapters shown are for the Aircraft fillers. The (N) is for 'Nipple' and the (S) is or 'Socket' on the CGA-540 end.An industrial cylinder has a socket. Micro particle filters are used and an O-ring is on the 540 nipple for an airtight fit by hand.

Sometimes an FBO can't quickly or easily adapt to the standard CGA-540 regime. However, with the TA-540-AN a CGA-540 cylinder adapts to the MS22035/66 regime. This allows one to refill a CGA-540 cylinder with equipment commonly found at an FBO oxygen transfilling station. Don't leave home without this!
